Ropojansko Lake
Ropojansko Lake is one of several glacial lakes in Prokletije (Hridsko, Visitsko, Tatarjsko, Bjelajsko, the lake on Vezirova Brada,
lake on Treskavac, Koljindarsko). It is part of a beautiful, almost alpine landscape. It is located not far from the village of Vusanje and the famous spring
Around the grasshopper.
Potter and Ljuča
Although born in the high mountains, the rivers of Gusinj are flat and tame, full of fish. Their names of rivers sound like a song: Grnčar, Dolja, Grlja, Vruja, Ljuča. They all merge and flow into the Blue Lake, and then flow down the Lim River, all the way to the Black Sea. The Grnčar River flows from Albania, merges with Vruja and together forms Ljuča. The Vruja River is made up of the Dolja and Grlja rivers. Dolja springs in the mountain Trojan, Grlja (as Skakavica) in the valley of Ropojan.
Potter and Ljuča create completely different landscapes, especially in summer. The cavernous landscape is dry and bright with pebbles and sand, and Ljučin is green,
tucked away, swampy.
