The watercourses are a very interesting natural treasure of the municipality of Gusinje. Springs, streams, rivers, as well as their waterfalls and canyons, are completely authentic, unpredictable and stubborn, I guess because of the fact that
They’re damned. It’s wild and tame at the same time. The power is unbelievable. As they quickly change directions and forms, so do their names. They spring from immeasurable depths, plunge for no reason, disappear (dry up), snake through the valley hidden by the bushes, merge and expand, come from the rain and then retreat and baškare, with equally elusive fish, generously leaving fields of pebbles and sand, shrubs and groves. All the waters around Gusinje are extremely clean, healthy, and some are healing.
